California Business Roundtable President Rob Lapsley issued the following statement today regarding Governor Brown’s State of the State Address:
“Today, the Governor reaffirmed that his commitment to getting California’s fiscal house in order remains his highest priority. The Roundtable shares this goal in order to strengthen California’s economy, stimulate investment and create more jobs.
“Now it is the Legislature’s turn to show their commitment that they are serious about attracting business and growing our economy. We desperately need long term reforms in education, spending, regulations, pensions, and health care that will create a more positive climate for our members to increase investment and jobs.”
