Our organization led the fight to protect Prop. 13 by defeating a split-roll property tax measure in 2020, twice defeated efforts to negatively impact the housing market by imposing statewide rent control, supported increasing arts education in California classrooms, and supported school facilities bonds to help build the infrastructure our future workforce needs to be competitive.
